There is something so clean, open, and inviting to me about these spaces. I don’t think most would say “inviting”. But for some reason I absolutely can not get enough of monochromatic designs. They are beautiful beyond words.
That’s exactly what I was thinking as I was writing this post. It is not so kid friendly. And how do you have a staircase like that with children running around? Impossible. What kind of people have homes like these? I would like to meet them, and then meet their improbable children.
The charming design work on the white ceilings and windows is exquisitely beaufiul. I think you and Clay could tackle this. You buy the reliefs, paste them on and paint over it. Interesting, using the logs for a design effect. I hope you didn’t sell your clock at your yard sale. KEEP IT; It’s cool! I love your blog. It gives me a little peek into your beautiful mind.
love the wood features. I love white too, but with 2 little boys I’d be nuts to leave anything stark white!

I would love to see you build your dream house. I would love to see what you’d come up with!
Ooh I love the wood beams on stark white!
