Clay and I took a trip to Carlsbad, California to see what we could see… and to see friends whom I have missed so dearly over the past what… 5 years? Amie, Tavico, Ali, Kavin, Olive, and 4 identical Yorkies welcomed us into their home, toured us around town, cooked us dinner on the beach, breakfast in the morning, and took us to an amazing Amish style (or something…) restaurant called Yellow Deli who’s banana milk was divine.
We headed to the airport on Sunday, got stuck in traffic and missed our flight… (yay!) So we got to spend another night with Lindsay, Michael, Henry and Iggy who took our homeless selves in last minute. We weren’t sad AT ALL to have to extend our mini vacation.
Thank you California peeps, we love you lots and lots and hope we will have you over to our house soon! (In California of course, in a house overlooking the beach. And bring your pups, because they will also be invited.)
We will be your first visitors. Watch out – there are 7 of us. hahaha. Dad told me you missed your flight, but not I am thinking you may have missed it on purpose! 🙂
HAHAHA not on purpose! We got stuck in traffic and had already left too late to make up the time… but we weren’t sad… hehe PLEASE be our first visitors! Our living room can be one big air mattress! And we can go to the beach and do other things that are fun! But what am I talking about? We still live in Utah… : /
Reggie would love having the four little friends over to the house in California. The Beachboy’s “California Dreamin” is running through my head.
HAHAHA can you imagine?! 4 Yorkies and then you throw Reggie into the mix… that would be out of control! Chaos! SO MUCH FUN! 🙂
You still have Reggie?? So fun 🙂 You make living in southern california look lovely….we will come visit when you guys move! We haven’t been back since we moved!
Henry and Iggy made the blog yessss!! They will be thrilled. Loved this post!!
Loved having you guys!
You are so cute! I seriOuslu love your blog and you!!! Can’t wait to see you again!!
Just discovered your blog and its lovely! Bravo for not living a life that anyone else thinks you should live!
P.S. – I went to a school in Chattanooga, TN for a year and there was also a strange restaurant called yellow deli which actually was run by a cult-ish family! There were stories of the family brainwashing young female students and having them sell all of their things, give up contact with family and move onto the “family” compound…bizarre stuff! google it!
