fab four

So far today I have had a 98 year old man back up into me in the Taco Bell drive through, then take off at an unusually fast speed for his age without acknowledging the accident. (I really don’t think he was aware). Returning home, as I was unwrapping my delicious meal, it slipped through my fingers in slow motion, and that taco bell cantina bowl chaotically fell to the floor to the awaiting mongrels ready to strike. Bear and Reggie devoured every bit while I frantically picked up what was left of the lime chicken and cilantro. Don’t worry I didn’t eat it. I then proceeded to load the dogs into the car (we are having our home inspected today by a prospective buyer), and in the process got my bun stuck on the suit hanger for a good 3 minutes or so… (had to take the whole thing out after my “try not to mess it up too bad” attempt failed. Do you ever have those moments where you are embarrassed but there is nobody there to be embarrassed for? It was one of those moments. Then you are embarrassed you were ever embarrassed!) oh, and on my way out the door I bumped the entry table with the dog crate, knocking off and breaking my very favorite vase that I keep in my entry because it’s my very favorite. Dear Universe, WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?! I think I will stay in for the rest of the day for fear of what there is to come! Sheesh.

So here we go, a few beauties to remind me that yes, life is lovely, even on days like today when everything seems so terribly out of order.
