Is it just me or is this blog becoming more and more of a baking blog every day?
I decided last minute this morning that I needed to use a few pears I bought last week and I have seen this done a few times. I couldn’t find a recipe I LOVED, so I decided to wing it a bit, turns out… you can’t really mess these up!
Ingredients:
Bosch pears
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Butter
Walnuts
Maple Syrup
Directions:
Bosch pears cut in half
Scoop out seeds and make a nice little pocket with a spoon
Cut a tiny cube of butter for each and place in scooped out hole.
Chop walnuts and place on top of butter
Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top of pears
Drizzle pure maple syrup over pears.
Bake for 35 minutes at 400 degrees.
ENJOY!
Happiest of Sundays!.. and make these NOW… swear you’ll be in foodie heaven.
Hi! I follow your blog and its one of my favorites! I have a question and I figured you would be one of the best people to ask.. So, here it goes: I work in a hospital and I have to dress business casual… I also have tattoo’s on my arms and they must be covered…. I’m not big on dresses (because I’m short, 5’1) But, I love modern, plain pieces. Mostly black, gray, or navy color schemes. What are your thoughts on outfit ideas that would be minimalistic? I’m also very into that style. If you haven’t heard of everlane.com you should look it up! Do you have any suggestions? Should I give more an explanation of what I’m asking for? Lol thanks in advance! Love your style!
Hey Jess!
Have you heard of Brass Clothing? I love them for basic pieces that are also really great quality! I don’t know how dressy your work requires you to wear, but I also love just a cotton stretch knee length or midi skirt. You can style that so many ways. Honestly, I find so many things at Forever 21 too… surprisingly.
I do love everlane as well! let me know what you find. 🙂
Great! Thanks for the response. I’ll check out Brass clothing. I do love forever 21, but shipping there gives me a migraine! Haha! I’ll let you know what I find. Thanks again!
