Clay claims that this recipe was self-taught… And I gotta say, I am pretty impressed. It’s a regular around here and it’s super easy because most ingredients are pre-made seasonings and or cans. It’s totally a crowd favorite! This recipe can also be doubled, tripled… whatever!
Ingredients:
Let’s first say that this can’t really be messed up. You can add whatever portions you’d like according to taste and texture…
1 Canned Corn (drained)
2 Canned Chili Beans (drained)
1/2 Chili Packet
1 lb. Ground Beef
2 Cans Tomato Sauce
1 Red or Green Pepper
3/4 Cup Chopped Onion
3-4 Large Potatoes
1-2 Cloves Garlic
Directions:
Cut up potatoes and boil to soften
Sautée chopped peppers and onions together
Cook ground beef in separate pan or after veggies
Add all canned ingredients, chili packet, your cooked veggies and meat to large pot, stir and heat on high until boiling.
Once boiling reduce to simmer.
Optional:
Top with grated cheese or sour cream… serve with bread, in a bread bowl or with chips.
ENJOY!

Mmm looks and sounds delicious! So hearty and perfect for a winter’s day! How many portions does this amount of ingredients serve Mary?
I would say 8-10 bowls.
Perfect, thank you!
Yum! Thank you for the inspiration!
