Baby Baby on My Mind

Pulling all of Ezzy’s baby clothes out of storage today and getting super emotional. I had forgotten about so many little outfits, shoes and onesies I loved so much! Can’t wait to put them on this new little guy! (Aren’t hand me downs the best?)

Let’s get real here… laundry is one of those things that I’m NOT super excited about after baby. With two kids it’s going to get crazy for sure. You moms with 3+… how do you do it?! It’s not exciting, but it’s inevitable. And with all those cute baby clothes it’s a necessity. Choosing a product I totally trust and have been using since Ez was a baby makes doing all those loads a bit easier. I know we won’t have any issues with allergic reactions or uncomfortable rashes from clothing which totally gives me peace of mind!

Dreft purtouch is awesome for so many reasons. It is a 65% plant-based formula that is hypoallergenic and is from Dreft, the #1 pediatrician-recommended baby detergent brand. It’s free of dyes, chlorine, phosphates, ethanolamine and optical brighteners – specially formulated to help make the world gentle for baby.

I also learned with Ez how important it is to wash everything before putting them on baby’s skin, even (and especially) things that are new. Ezra had SUPER sensitive skin and broke out in a rash after wearing one of his new little onesies. (Parent fail. ) He was fine, but just one more thing to worry about! Not taking that chances this time! Live and learn right??

In addition, Dreft has partnered with Dr. Jody Levine – board-certified pediatrician, cosmetic and surgical dermatologist – to help educate parents on the best ways to properly care for baby’s skin. Check out her tips on how to protect baby’s skin below:

Okay few more thing that are awesome:

The Dreft purtouch formula is made with 100% renewable wind power electricity, is made at a zero manufacturing waste to landfill site and the bottle is 100% recyclable.

They’re doin’ it right and one less thing to worry about for us so we can enjoy these little bundles.

Hey Lauren, I love your blog!
Hand me downs are definitely the best and am also going to be pulling Shawn’s clothes from storage very soon. I just tested positive for baby number two and the excitement is over the roof. All these adorable clothes Shawn used to wear will belong to this baby and will get the Dreft pur.touch to make them smell amazing.
