I feel so lucky to have Parowan, UT a part of my life. I came here to visit my grandparents all the time as a kid, especially when it snowed. It’s only an hour from where I grew up… a place that didn’t get ANY snow. So it was always special.
Over Thanksgiving, when we went to St. George, so we of course made the hour long drive to Parowan. I was keeping my fingers crossed weeks before and guess what… WE GOT SNOW!!! (And Curren slept through ALMOST the whole thing. ????)
I packed our The North Face jackets and we stayed toasty warm. My jacket is HEAVENLY. I’ve never had a LEGIT, warm, LONG snow coat. In all my life. ???? Even walking through snow on campus for 4 years in Salt Lake City. Oh, what I would have given for this coat way back then.
The kids’ jackets are perfect for layering in snow but also everyday wear. They are lightweight, easy to pack and fitted (and adorable.)
We had a beautiful visit with my Grandma and Grandpa, Ezra and Curren played in the snow with their cousins, and we counted about 45 deer on our way out. (One of my favorite Parowan highlights.) ????????
