Clay and I pretended it was Saturday today… on a Wednesday. Best feeling ever, if you take away the slight stomach ache I have for celebrating fall too hard with too many candy corns. We took a little drive up the canyon to “see the fall leaves”, (a little part of me was pretending it was Parowan Canyon and I was in the back on the yellow pick-up truck.) But this little excursion was almost just as good. The colors were amazing and I found a little piece to bring home with me. I have been fall-ishly inspired to decorate my house in all sorts of festive colors. Are you getting into the fall spirit yet?
Reggie is loving the wind in his fur—so cute. Once again you have made me feel something wonderful with you pictures and story. The leaves don’t turn in St George until November, but I will search them out somewhere else for now because I want to feel the fall. I’ll gather a BIG bunch like yours. BeauTIful bright, vivid colors of fall.
Putting the leaves in front of a mirror is a good idea because the reflection gives the impression that there are twice as many leaves.
Wish we had mountains here in Vegas that had leaves like that! So pretty! I love your pics!!!!
Beautiful photos, and I love the leaves in front of the mirror!
Thank you!
This post makes me miss Utah in the Fall! We don’t have leaves like this in LA, not even close. They don’t even fall off the trees till like Nov or Dec! Reggie looks happy as a clam.
