The chalkboard wall was a hit! Every time kids come over, that’s the first thing they rush to do. And I am obsessed with the color. I am having a love affair with green lately and this did just the trick to add a little bit (or a lot) of green in Ezra’s room. This paint is tintable to 12 colors, we chose Schoolhouse Green. You can find it at most hardware stores… but we got ours at Home Depot. 🙂
*A few people asked if it’s easy to clean up and YES! An eraser just makes kind of a mess but a wet paper towel does the trick and it doesn’t remove any of the paint.
*The chalk (obviously) does leave “chalk dust” everywhere if there is a LOT of writing happening. I vacuum every once in a while but not a big deal.
*This stuff is POTENT. The fumes and smell was pretty strong while it dried and even a couple of days after. We had Ezra sleep in our room and kept the door shut with windows open for a couple of days. Just incase.
*We used two pints to cover Ezra’s wall with two coats. They’re about $10 each.
I’d love to see your chalkboard wall! Tag me in your photos! 🙂
